Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman

Press release. The Information Day in the framework of international grant project TEMPUS «Development and improvement of university management within the context of international relations01 October 2015р.

On 29 th of September, 2015, Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman conducted the Informational Day within the framework of realization of the international grant project TEMPUS “Development and improvement of university management within the context of international relations” (UNIVIA) 543893- TEMPUS – 1 – 2013 – 1 – AZ – TEMPUS – SMGR.

Discussion of the project’s execution stages of the universities-partners and prospects of improving the work of center for international relations within the context of ensuring the international academic mobility were on the event’s agenda. The participants of the event were the representative of the European university- partner – prof. Khuan Antonio Perlez Roshel of Malaga University, Spain, the representative of grantholder - Mrs. Afet Alekperova of Azerbaijan State University of Economic, were the representative of the Ukrainian university-partner – director of the International science and education center Olha Reva of Poltava University of Economics and Trade, director of the International Erasmus Plus Office Mrs. Svitlana Shytikova.

Prof. V. Chuzhykov commenced the event by saying a welcoming speech. Director of Center of International Academic Mobility Ievgeniia Kolomiiets- Liudvig presented a report on the results of the project’s fulfillment and a plan of action for the last year of the project. The representatives of the universities- partners informed about the progression of the project’s tasks fulfilling in their higher education institutions.

Thanks to the active participation of the departments/center of international relations and other structural subdivision representatives who are responsible international academic mobility in the higher education institutions of Kyiv, there was a lively exchange and discussion of the pressing problems of ensuring the activity of international departments.
