Dr. Yershova obtained her master's degree in Law with English language state exam and Ph.D. in Law from Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman. She also studied law at Northumbria University, as a visiting scholar at Vienna University of Economics and Business, Harvard Kennedy School, UK Government Program. From November 2016 Dr. Yershova worked as a Senior Expert of the EU project "Support to the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement" at the Office of the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration. Viktoriia was responsible for development of the Governmental Action Plan on implementation of the Association Agreement. It was adopted by Government Decree on 25 October 2017 № 1106. The Action Plan formulated about 2000 tasks for nearly 100 governmental institutions covering 1200 pages. Dr. Yershova was also responsible for online monitoring system called “Pulse of Association Agreement” which is still official instrument for progress on implementation of the EU-UA Association Agreement. From February 2018 Viktoriia was promoted to the position of the Fellowship Program Coordinator of the EU project "Support to the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement" (budget 7,7 mln euro). In 2018 she had also won a fellowship of the UK Government Program focused on research of UK Government and Parliament experience in legal approximation of the EU law to national legislation. |

Areas of research: | Her academic research focuses on European Union Law, European Union Internal Market Law, EU Ecology Law, Ukrainian and European Union Law on environmental protection. Viktoriia published her first monography “Administrative and legal basis of environmental protection in Ukraine” in 2016. Her teaching experience includes disciplines "European Union Law", "European Union Internal Market Law", "Harmonisation of the national legislation with international legal rules", "International Economic Law", "International Law", "International Private Law". |
