The aim of the discipline: to form the system of theoretical knowledge and practical skills regarding modern models, methods, facilities, tools, functions, principles and features of formation of the system of economic diplomacy of the countries in the process of implementation of the national foreign-trade state interests.

The target of the discipline: the targets of the discipline are aimed at the formation of student’s knowledge system, methodological approaches and skills in the sphere of economic diplomacy of the country.

Results of studying:

If successful requirements as for mastering the science have been fulfilled, the student will be able to:

·       Determine preconditions and factors of the development of economic diplomacy, evaluate causes, conditions and tendencies of the applying diplomatic tools in conditions of asymmetric global socio-political and economic development;

·       Identify determinant factors of the impact on the economy of the country and use the effective, in terms of achieving goals of foreign economic policy, methods of economic diplomacy;

·       Understand the essence of diplomacy, official development assistance;

·       Understand the reasons for the need to use diplomacy to ensure the economic security of the country and its sectors.

·       Use the diplomatic management in the sphere of economic diplomacy, work technique of economic (commercial) Attaché/Adviser on Economic Affairs;

·        Identify current challenges and strategic tasks of the economic diplomacy of Ukraine.
