Motivational management

Thepurpose of the discipline is formation of theoretical and applied knowledge in the branch of personnel labor activity increasing, improvement of quality performance indicators using tools of tangibleand intangible motivation.

Thetask of the discipline is providing to students sustainable up to date knowledge in motivational management theory, formation of skills and abilities of personnel motivation analyzing and developing research and practice recommendations concerning its increasing; development of ability to research activity, as well  independency and responsibility in substantiation and making a decision in the motivational management sphere.

The students will acquire competences:

-      to estimate of tangiblemotivation in an organization and to develop of activities for its improvement;

-      to work out a competitive compensation package;

-      to determine essential salary differentiation factors for different personnel categories and to take into consideration them during developing of different rewards;

-      to determine an economic feasibility of a choice of appropriate approach to designing of a basic wage, to work out a tariff system of a labor compensation using different approaches;

-      to design a basic wage using a grading;

-      to work out a premium regulation: to determine premium criteria and conditions, an amount and a periodicity;

-      to justify a necessity and usefulness of a selection of different bonuses and rewards designing variants;

-      to determine an optimal approach to designing of social benefits, to design of social package according to the selected approach;

-      to analyze effectiveness of intangible motivation of personneland to development of activities for its improvement;

-      to organize of a motivational monitoring, to analyze its outcomes and to development of recommendations concerning personnel motivation increasing.
