Corporate social responsibility of business

The aim of the discipline– formation of professionals with basic knowledge of the theory and practice of corporate social responsibility and their acquisition of the professional competencies that ensure the formation of socially responsible behavior.

Discipline objectives: acquaintance of future professionals with the general laws of interaction between business and society through the implementation tools of formation and functioning of CSR in the organization.

The students will acquire competences:

—identify, analyze and rank the organizations expectations of interested parties from the standpoint of the concept of CSR;

—ensure compliance with the principles of the Global Compact in the workplace based on ILO standards, EU and national legislation;

—assess the materials in CSRB to form proposals for improving CSRB development programs;

—materialize the basic principles of ethical decision-making;

—collect and evaluate information on CSR for decision making and the formation of proposals to the programs of the organization;

—analyze non-financial reporting of organization and prepare the necessary information for its formation;

—develop a system for monitoring the effectiveness of the organization's CSR using modern methodological tools and evaluate the effectiveness of programs CSRB;

—develop and implement of the procedures for the exercise of social audit;

—analyze non-financial risks associated with the activities of the organization and to develop measures to prevent or reduce their negative impact.
