The purposeof discipline "Vocational guidance" is to develop students' knowledge systems of vocational guidance and competencies to assist in choosing a profession or its change and conducting professional selection.

Tasks of the discipline:the study of mental, physiological, psychological characteristics of labour activity, medical indications and contraindications by professions, personal characteristics of an individual and their compliance with the profession requirements.

The students will acquire competences:

-                     perform professional selection;

-                     determine the professional suitabilities of an individual;

-                     develop psychological profiles of the individual and profession, professiogram, personogram, charts of the development of the employee professional competencies and their significance for the position;

-                     use innovative technologies of conducting the interview;

-                     use alternative methods of professional selection;

-                     conduct professional selection by the employee competencies;

-                     conduct professional clearing;

-                     organize professional management of adaptation.
