The aim of the discipline– to help students to possess knowledge system of occupational safetyand develop skills in the fields of modern management model conditions, health and safety at the national, regional and industrial levels.

Discipline objectives:

—mastering of knowledge on occupational safety and use them at the level of the enterprise, organization;

—development of students' skills of scientific research, to teach them independence and responsibility.

The students will acquire competences:

—justify the need for a focused and systematic management of working conditions;

—determine the influence of environment factors, severity and intensity of the work process in humans and methods of protection against their negative impact;

—carry out rationing of working conditions;

—assess the state of production environment;

—determine the state of working conditions on the basis of job evaluation;

—conduct analysis of injuries, occupational diseases and injuries;

—develop measures to redress injuries and occupational diseases and combat injuries and occupational diseases;

— implement regulatory support of occupational safety
