Analytical tools of enterprise economy

 

1. The purpose of the discipline. Its connection with other disciplines of the curriculum.

 

The purpose of the discipline: formation and/or development theoretical, methodological and applied competencies in relation to modern analytical tools (methods, models) to support the preparation and decision-making processes within the management of the enterprise for applicants for the degree (post-graduate students)

 

Interdisciplinary connections: the discipline "Analytical tools of enterprise economy" is based on knowledge, skills and practical skills acquired in the study of disciplines "Microeconomics", "Economy of Enterprise", "Strategy of an enterprise", "Marketing research", "Project analysis", "Economic and mathematical modeling" and other economic disciplines.

 

2. Program results and competencies that the student will acquire after studying the discipline:

 

Knowledge:

·               methodological approaches, which are based on traditional and modern tools to support decision-making in enterprise management;

·               modern methodological apparatus to support decision-making in the management of the enterprise at the strategic and tactical levels, at the level of individual functional subsystems (marketing, production, investment, finance);

·               analytical and toolkits to support business decision-making in conditions of information uncertainty, which is based (or used) apparatus of probability theory, subjective probability theory, interval analysis, fuzzy sets theory.

 

Skills:

·               analyze problem situations in terms of the possibility and feasibility of using certain analytical approaches and methods to ensure rational decision-making;

·               apply modern analytical tools to support decision-making in the tasks of enterprise management at the strategic and tactical levels, in terms of individual functional subsystems (marketing, production, investment, finance);

·               use the methodological apparatus to support business decision-making in conditions of information uncertainty, which is based (used) apparatus of probability theory, subjective probability theory, interval analysis, fuzzy sets theory.

 

Communication:

·               free possession of conceptually terminological apparatus in the field of modern analytical approaches, methods and models to support decision-making in enterprise management tasks;

·               free communication on the issues of analytical tasks that arise during the management of the enterprise at the strategic and tactical levels, in terms of individual functional subsystems (marketing, production, investment, finance), as well as analytical tools for their solution.

 

Autonomy and responsibility:

·               demonstration of authority, innovation, high degree of independence, academic and professional integrity and development of new ideas in the advanced contexts of professional and scientific activity;

·               ability to continuous self-development, self-improvement and innovative thinking taking into account ideas, concepts and cultures.
