Business performance

 

1. The purpose of mastering the discipline. Its connection with other disciplines of the curriculum.

The purpose of the discipline: the formation of the skills of retrospective analysis of business performance to justify the priority areas, aimed at the development of the organization in the direction of certain economic results.

Interdisciplinary linkages: The course "Business Performance" is based on knowledge, skills and practical skills acquired during the study of disciplines "Methodology of Economic Research", "Management Economics", "Strategic Competitiveness" and other economic disciplines.

2. Program results and competencies the student will acquire after mastering the discipline:

Knowledge:

- Possession of advanced conceptual and methodological knowledge to assess the effectiveness of modern business structures, qualitative analysis of resource markets and their impact on the desired results of the enterprise, organization of measures to rationalize the use of material, labor and financial resources of enterprises and accumulation of intellectual, informational and other strategic company resources.

Skills:

- to approach the analysis of the effectiveness of the enterprise taking into account the target expectations of different groups of stakeholders and to choose the appropriate tools to assess the degree of satisfaction of their interests;

- to identify cause-and-effect relationships between various objects, phenomena and processes and apply modern technologies for developing management decisions to improve the efficiency of the enterprise and their direct implementation in business practice;

- to develop a system for evaluating the effectiveness of the enterprise in general and for individual business processes, taking into account the specifics of the studied enterprise and the type of economic activity.

Communication:

- to communicate freely on issues of improving the effectiveness of activities with colleagues, the wider scientific community, society as a whole;

- ability to provide clear and unambiguous communication of own conclusions, as well as knowledge and explanations that substantiate them, to members of the working group, structural unit and the staff of the enterprise as a whole.

Autonomy and responsibility:

- Demonstration of personal responsibility for professional and / or management decisions or provided proposals / recommendations that may affect the formation, implementation and control of planned activities in the field of ensuring the effectiveness of the enterprise;

- ability to continuous self-development, self-improvement based on modern concepts, models and approaches.
