The purpose of studying discipline - learning methods of offers preparation and grant applications; skills of mastering of finance resources; formation of cross-disciplinary project teams; implementation of effective project management and assistance in the academic mobility of scientists.

Tasks (educational purposes) of discipline are to obtain competences in research, innovative and design activity; learn methods of development, financing and implementation of scientific projects, programs and grants in the sphere of economy.

The theory, methods and applied instruments of carrying out economic researches in the sphere of economy and business is a subject of discipline.

Results of training:

As a result of studying a subject matter the student has to

nobilities / knowledge:

- to have knowledge of tools of creative thinking and bases of project management;

- ability to master technologies of offers justification and grant applications for projects in the system of educational and scientific grants at national and international level;

- ability to form understanding of criteria of estimation of project activity, commercialization of results of scientific creativity and development of abilities to integrate the graduate student into world scientific space;

- Ability to choose instruments of financing of scientific projects depending on specifics of scientific research.

to be able / ability:

- to use modern methods of the academic language in scientific creativity with respect for the principles of the academic respectability;

- to present scientific results in the Ukrainian and English languages in project offers and grant applications;

- to interpret results of scientific research within the chosen directions of project activity;

- to develop application forms (applications) of scientific projects, to define them the purposes and results;

- to calculate the budget of investment resources for implementation of scientific projects;

- to organize financing process of scientific projects and to define optimum structure of sources of their financing;

- to use effective tools and measures of risk management of scientific projects.

communication:

- to conduct communication with different target audiences on preparation of project offers and grant requests for carrying out scientific research in the Ukrainian and English languages;

- to effectively use own time for project activities for observance of the established regulations of performance of separate project stages;

- to use modern information and communication technologies for justification of project offers and grant statement;

- ability to work in the international sphere, to apply management skills in the financing of scientific projects, ability to clear and unambiguous reports about own conclusions with explanations that are understanding for experts and nonprofessionals.

Autonomy and responsibility:

- to show authoritativeness, creativity, high extent of self-training and self-realization, the academic respectability, consecutive devotion of development of the new ideas in the advanced contexts of scientific activity;

- ability to autonomous and independent thinking, a formulation of the ideas and to producing hypotheses;

- to show understanding of personal responsibility for professional and/or management decisions or the rendered offers / recommendations which can affect results of the scientific project in general or its separate components

- ability to autonomously perform research within scientific projects.
