Strategy and Business Development

1. The learning objective of the course. Its relationship with other courses of the curriculum

The purpose of the course is to acquire skills to identify and evaluate opportunities for successful business development by creating a value proposition for customers and business partners, the formation and implementation of a qualitatively new interaction of different business entities to achieve their strategic goals.

The search for effective and efficient ways of survival and development in a post-industrial economy is embodied in the concept of business development, which focuses on the processes of creating a long-term value proposition for the organization, determined by customers, markets and partnerships. Empirical experience in implementing the concept of business development shows the existence of a stable link between commerce, marketing, negotiation, partnership development, projects and research.

Interdisciplinary links. Teaching the course "Strategy and Business Development" is based on the synthesis of knowledge, skills, abilities acquired in the study of such courses as "Strategic Management", "Marketing", "Innovative Business", "Creative Management", "Project Management", "Economic management”, “Business law” and is focused on mastering by students of administrative and methodical tools of revealing of problems of development and definition of effective ways of their decision.

           - independently develop and make management decisions on the implementation of projects and programs of business development, demonstrate an understanding of personal responsibility for their implementation.
