The course is aimed at shaping the system of theoretical knowledge, practical skills and competence for the organization of business transactions and managing company competitive behavior in conditions of modern business environment in the EU. 

Course objectives:

  • understanding peculiarities of doing business in Europe, as well as its role in the development of the European Union under conditions of globalization and regional integration;
  • identification of opportunities and restrictions for the small and medium-sized enterprises in the EU member states in manufacturing goods, facilitating services, maintaining employment and accumulating the volumes of gross national product;
  • analyzing quality management issues on micro level in basic sectors of European business;
  • classifying tools of the EU competitive policy in the core sectors of European economy, which are universal throughout the EU;
  • learning key features of social responsibility management in the leading multinational companies carrying out economic operations in the EU internal market;
  • evaluating performance and efficiency of European enterprises in the core sectors of business;
  • systematizing regulatory methods of the key commodities and services markets of the European Union;
  • defining the prospects of the core sectors of the European business in the context of a new paradigm of global management.

Course subject: business transactions, uniform management tools of competitive behavior, as well as trends of companies’ development in the core sectors of business in the EU Member States.
