Graduated fromDonetsk Polytechnic Institutein 1967.He startedhisprofessional career as a lecturer at the Department of Political Economy in 1968. From 1970to 1973,he studied at the Postgraduate schoolatKyiv Institute of National Economy.After defending PhDthesis, he started working as a Senior Lecturer at Kyiv Institute of Political Science and Social Administration at the Department of Economics and Organization of Industrial Production and Construction. From 1973 to 1990, he worked as an Associate Professor, Professor,and Head of the department. From 1991 to 1997, he worked as the executive director for the research and pedagogical work of the newly established Ukrainian-Swiss International Institute of Management MIM-Kyiv. From 1997 to 2000, he worked at the International Center for Privatization, Investment, and Management, where he created and headed the business school and then served as Vice President. Since 2000, Professor Panchenko has been working as a professor at the Department of International Management at Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman. Professor Panchenko has a number of awards for achievements in scientific and educational activities, including: - O.Shlikhter’sPrize of the National AcademyofSciences of Ukraine for the cycle of works “Formation of the concept of an integrated system of national economy management” (1990);
- • Honorary title of the University “Honorary Faculty Member at Kyiv National Economic Universitynamed after Vadym Hetman” (2005);
- Certificate of Recognitionfrom the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine: "For significant personal contributions to the development of education, training of highly qualified specialists, and on the occasion of the 100-year anniversary ofKyiv National Economic Universitynamed after Vadym Hetman " (2006);
- Honorary diplomas and gratitudesfrom the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2008-2011);
