Purpose of discipline is: forming of understanding  among the students the  factors and mechanisms of achievement of high competition positions  in the world market. 

Tasks consist of: exposure of systematic essence of international competitiveness of enterprises, industries, regions and national economies in the conditions of economic globalization; exposure of certain indexes and factors of international competitiveness of enterprises (organizations); investigational and selection of different types of international strategies of competition conduct and evaluation of their efficiency; analysis of sectorial, regional and  imperative  forming of competitive edges of subjects of international economic relations; certain dispositions of subjects of global competition;  development and implementation of competition strategies of  Ukrainian enterprises for going into foreign markets.

Competences which are formed  the discipline directed on forming by the students of the followings professional competences: the analysis of condition of international markets, its monitoring and forecasting; the  analysis of factors and indexes of competitiveness of subjects of international business; the  analysis of tendencies of globalization of economic development, exposure and estimation of problems of development of international business; strategic analysis of terms of development of international economic activity; forming of strategy of international economic activity of enterprise (organizations), industry, region; development of strategic measures  for providing  international competitiveness of goods, services, enterprises, industries, inter-branch complexes; generating  innovative strategic decisions in to international economic sphere; organization of processes of management development of enterprise (organizations) of international type; organization of co-operation of enterprise (organizations)  with an external environment; organization of processes of management of regions, industries, complexes international economic activity; organization of international scientific and technical cooperation; organization of the system of providing  international competitiveness of subjects of international business.
