Educational degree: Bachelor

The aim of the science: to form the students’ understanding of trends, patterns and mechanisms of international trade, analysis of indicators of development; knowledge of modern forms and methods of organization of international exchange of goods, services and products of intellectual property as well as modern instruments for regulation of the international trade processes.

         The target of the science: to create the students’ complex of competences that will be enough to start to work by specialty in the governmental and business structures in the process of planning, organization and export/import regulation in the system of international trade relations.

         Results of studying: if successful requirements as for mastering the science have been fulfilled, the student will be able to:

·        Analyze the development trends of international trade in conditions of global development asymmetry;

·        Calculate and evaluate the development indexes of foreign trade of the countries, efficiency of export/import activity of its entities and, in general, turnover and dynamics of the international trade;

·        Understand modern forms of organization of international exchange on the markets of goods, services, raw materials and products of intellectual property;

·        Choose the most efficient forms of international trade by peculiarity of cooperation between entities;

·        Have terminological tools of preferential and discriminatory trade, including trade disputes and wars;

·        Use the most efficient methods in the international trade;

·        Choose organized goods market (exchange, auctions, exhibitions, fairs, tenders) during the international trade);            

·        Analyze the efficiency of targeting export/import flows on the basis of regulatory instruments system of corporate, state, interstate, regional and global levels.
