The purpose of discipline: is to acquire students system of knowledge about the basic principles of metrology and measurement, acquiring basic knowledge necessary to solve production problems associated with the choice of means and methods of measurement of electrical, magnetic and electric sizes, as well as to explore other disciplines specialty, which use electrical appliances.
Objectives of the course: to form the students complex competencies sufficient to start work on a specialty in the primary positions under the guidance of experienced professionals and managers.
Learning results:
Given the successful implementation of the requirements for mastering science student can:
- learn the theoretical foundations of metrology and measurement
- acquire practical skills and skills application of modern metrology and measurement.
As a result, students have:
- learn the principles of action, properties, common characteristics of measuring electrical, magnetic and non-electrical quantities;
- gain skills using measuring equipment;
- learn to choose the means and methods of measurement;
- learn to perform measurements and assess their errors.
