In 1979, she graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. After completing postgraduate studies at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, she defended her PhD thesis in 1991. Since 1979, she taught higher mathematics at the Kirovohrad Pedagogical Institute as a lecturer, then from 1980 to 1982 as an assistant at the Kyiv Institute of National Economy. In 1982, she was elected first to the position of assistant, then senior lecturer, and in 1986 to the position of head of the Department of General Education and General Science at the Kyiv Higher Combined Arms School. In connection with its liquidation, she worked as an associate professor and then head of the Department of Higher Mathematics and Theoretical Mechanics at the Kyiv Institute of Land Forces from 1992, and from 1999 to 2001 she was an associate professor at Department #3 of NTUU “KPI”. From 2001 to 2015, she worked as an associate professor at the Department of Higher Mathematics at KNEU. Since 2007, she has been the Deputy Head of the Department and since 2015, she has been a professor at the Department.  She has published more than 150 scientific and methodological works, including 2 textbooks with the Vulture of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, 19 textbooks and teaching aids with the Vulture of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and a monograph. For many years of conscientious work, a significant contribution to the training of qualified specialists and fruitful teaching activities at the SHEI “Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University” V.P. Lisovska was awarded the Acknowledgment of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
