Education:
- Bachelor of Sociology, 2008 graduation, University of Bremen
- Master in Urban and Regional Development, 2010 graduation, University of Bremen
- Doctor rer.pol., thesis defended in 2014 on Sustainable Regional Development by the Etablishment of Innovation-oriented Cluster Managementin in Logistics Cross-border Regions, University of Bremen.
Since 2015, Dr. Irina Dovbishuk is actively involved in the creation of a joint German-Ukrainian Master's Degree Program in Logistics, which opens in 2017 at KNEU. Since 2016, the four-year international GUMLog program has been implemented with the participation of the State Higher Education Institute “Kyiv National Economic University. V. Hetman”, University of Bremen and Uman National University of Horticulture under her coordination. With her assistance, 13 KNEU students (Faculty of Marketing and Faculty of International Economics and Management) have been awarded scholarships to study at the University of Bremen for one month. From 2018 Dr. Dovbishuk facilitated the initiation of two-way semester-based student exchange through the ERASMUS+ program. Teachers at the KNEU (Department of Marketing, Department of Business and Logistics, Department of Finance) and the University of Bremen took part in the mobility program during each year of the GUMLog progect.
It is worth noting that the Department of Commercial Activities and Logistics in collaboration with Dr. Dovbishuk is constantly working to find additional funding from private companies and international funds to support scientific and educational activities.
