The results of the sixth training "European Model of Green Development" have been summarized06 June 2025р.
The training was conducted by Professors Stolyarchuk Ya.M., Stezhko N.V. and Ilnytskyy D.O. within the framework of the implementation of the grant project of international technical assistance of the European Union Erasmus+ "Youth leadership towards the consolidation of EU initiatives in the context of cross-border instability in Ukraine". The participants of the training course studied the issues of implementing state policies in the field of forming a green economy in general and its sectors, increasing the efficiency of resource use, managing energy sustainability, restoring biodiversity and reducing pollution on practical European cases, conducted surveys of domestic enterprises on the readiness of their business strategies for "green changes", and also developed their own proposals for implementing transformations based on the principles of the "green" economy for enterprises and organizations in Ukraine. During the training course, a round table was held on the topic "European integration dimension of the green transformation of the economy of Ukraine: synergy of business, government, education and community". The acquired knowledge and skills will be useful for deepening integration with the EU and fulfilling the international commitments undertaken by Ukraine in the field of ESG and the development of the green economy, because the goal of the "European Green Deal" strategy is to transform the economy into a low-carbon, sustainable, and therefore more suitable for future generations. Ukraine needs to plan the post-war reconstruction of the country on the basis of energy independence and climate security and intensify the harmonization of national legislation with European legislation. We have a unique chance to integrate into the new EU production chains that are being created to implement the European Green Deal. We hope that the post-war and post-crisis reconstruction will allow for qualitative changes in the domestic economy and society! Participant certificates can be viewed here.
