Irina Petrova

Irina Petrova is the author of more than 120 scientific, methodological and practice-oriented papers concerning human resource management, labour economics and organizational behaviour (“Human Resource Management”, “Strategic Human Resource Management", "Organizational Behaviour" and «Labour Economics"). She defended her doctoral thesis "Labour market segmentation and regulation" in 1998. She took an internship at the University of Minnesota (the USA) and High School (the Netherlands). For a long time she has been conducting research on employment and labour market, developing recommendations for the Social Policy Ministry on employment and labour market policy, consulting state and private organization on human resource management. She has the experience of working as an expert of such international organizations as Eurasia Fund, USAID and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. She is a member of the academic council of thesis defence and a member of Editorial board of three scientific journals.

Svetlana Tsimbalyk

In 1997 graduated from Kyiv National Economic University. In 2000 completed  postgraduate program of Kyiv National Economic University. Became a Ph. D. in Economics in 2001. Dr. Tsimbalyk has been working at KNEU since 2001. During her work at the department she taught such courses as “Personnel Management”, “Motivational management”, “Ergonomics” and “Technologies of Human Resource management”

Vasyl Savchenko

In 1977  Dr. Savchenko  defended his thesis for the Ph. D. degree in Economics named “Increase of the efficiency of the use of labour resources in retail sales”. In 1991 he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Science, Economics named  "Professional orientation as a factor of improving the efficiency of reproduction of labor resources in trading"

Alla Vasylik

Graduated with honors from the Economics Faculty of Kyiv National Economic University named after Taras Shevchenko with a Master’s degree in economy of enterprise. Completed fulltime postgraduate program at Kyiv National Economic University named after Taras Shevchenko in 2007. Has been working at Personnel Management and Labour Economics Department of Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman since 2009. In 2009 defended thesis for the Ph. D. degree in Economics.

Liudmila Schetinina

Graduated from from Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman with a Master`s degree in personnel management. Defended thesis for the Ph. D. degree in Economics named  “The effectiveness of employment centers: institutional aspect” in 2005. Became an associated professor of Personnel Management and Labour Economics Department in 2010

Maria Mahsma

Graduated from the Economics Faculty of Lugansk Agricultural Institute in 1993. Completed postgraduate program and defended thesis for the Ph. D. degree in 1999. From 1999 till 2003 worked as a lecturer and assistant professor at Economics Department of European University. Became an associated professor in 2002. Has been working at Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman since 2003


Oksana Kravchuk

Graduated from Podilsk State Agro-technical Academy with a Master`s degree in accounting and audit. Professional experience: teacher at the Economics and Law Faculty of Kyiv University of Tourism, Economics and Law; Accountant at Kamyanets-Podilskiy branch of OJSC "Khmelnitskgaz"; postgraduate student, teaching assistant, senior lecturer, assistant professor at Personnel Management and Labour Economics Department of Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman.

Olena Kiryanova

Graduated with honors from Kyiv National Economic University with a degree in Personnel Management and Labour Economics in 2004. Has been working at the Personnel Management and Labour Economics Department since 2004. From 2004 till 2006 worked as a manager for Relations with employers at Employment Promotion Center “Perspectives”. In 2009 defended thesis for the Ph. D. degree in Economics named "Formation of higher education institutions support system for graduates` employment “. Business-coach. Director of human resource training center.

Olga Bilyk

Graduated from KNEU with a Master’s degree in human resource management in 2001. Since 2003 has been working at Personnel Management and Labour Economics Department of Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman. In 2009 defended thesis for the Ph. D. degree in Economics named "Mobility in the system of human capital, evaluation methods and areas of activation"

Tatyana Shkoda

Graduated with honors from Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman with a Master`s degree in marketing in 2003. After completing postgraduate program of National Aviation University  in 2007 defended thesis for the Ph. D. degree in Economics. From 2013 till 2014 participated in the scholarship program named after Lane Kirkland and studied at Higher School of Economics (Warsaw, Poland), specialization "Management HR». From 2003 till 2010 worked at Ukrainian and foreign organizations. From 2010 till 2014 worked as a lecturer and researcher at National Aviation University.

Alla Ilyenko

Has been working at KNEU since 2005. Currently teaches the following courses: “Labour Economics and Social-Labour Relations”, “Personnel Management”. Graduated from Kyiv National Economic University in 2001. Completed postgraduate program of Kyiv National Economic University in 2004.

Oksana Poplavska

Graduated from Kiev State Economic University with a degree in labour resources in 1996. Worked as a controller-auditor in Kiev KRU. Studied at the postgraduate program of Kyiv National Economic University. Worked as a chief specialist at the Ministry of Economy and chief specialist at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. Has been working at Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman since October 2000. Defended thesis for the Ph. D. degree named "Contractual regulation of wages in Ukraine"  at RVPS NAS of Ukraine in 2001. Became an associated professor in 2006.


Her teaching background embraces two month (2017) as the adjunct professor of School of Business of the University of Redlands (California, USA).

Ivan Ryabokon

Ivan Ryabokon, a PhD candidate, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Human
Resources Management and Labour Economics. He got a diversified practical experience at the
Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Finances of Ukraine and Kyiv local committee
of international organization AIESEC. Participated in a joint Polish-Ukrainian research group on
social inequality in European countries. Delivered a Human Resources Management course at
the School of Business of the University of Redlands, USA in 2017.
