| | | Regional Studies Association European Conference 2012 Delft Networked regions and cities in times of fragmentation: Developing smart, sustainable and inclusive places A huge thank you to all those who attended the Delft Conference 13-16 May 2012 held at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. We hope that everyone enjoyed the conference and found the presentations insightful. Pictures from the conference are now on our facebook page and the conferences papers are available here. We would also like to say thank you to the team at Delft University of Technology – we could not have done it without you! Another thank you to all those who joined us for the first ever live streaming of a Regional Studies Association plenary session on Monday 14th May 2012. We had 125 people view the sessions from all over the world in countries including Israel, New Zealand, Hungary, Denmark, Sweden, Czech Republic, Portugal, Croatia, France and Germany. It is not too late to watch - the sessions are still available at here. NOTICE: if anyone had lost a black leather note book please get in contact with the RSA office.

Sally Paddles the Thames On Sunday 3rd June 2012, over one thousand boats will muster on the River Thames in preparation for Her Majesty The Queen to take part in the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant. The RSA’s very own Sally Hardy will be part of that fleet. Sally’s bio can be found under the Kayak section on the flotilla participant’s page here you can also view the pageant order. The Pageant will be televised so see if you can spot Sally, her kayak will be branded with Regional Studies Association logos! Also have a look at the RSA Blog where Sally is featured. |
