Course Annotation

"Strategic Change Management in Agribusiness"

Recommended for master's degree students 

The aim of this courseis to develop strategic thinking, deepen understanding of the enterprise's strategy, strengthen diagnostic abilities and form skills in managing strategic changes in agribusiness, as well as mastering technical skills and techniques related to the use of modern methods of managing strategic changes, as well as:

1) providing applicants with theoretical knowledge and understanding of the main provisions of the course as a basis for their acquisition of professional skills and abilities;

2) developing a set of practical tasks, the solution of which ensures that applicants acquire a holistic system of skills to perform typical tasks of professional activity as an economist and manager in the field of strategic management, in particular, managing strategic changes in agribusiness;

3) adapting methodological recommendations and tasks for independent work on studying the program of the academic discipline, which serves as a means of forming in applicants the abilities to conduct scientific and practical research and present their results in the field of strategic management.

The interdisciplinary connections of this discipline.  "Strategic Change Management in Agribusiness" is a logical continuation of the course "Enterprise strategy" and "Strategic management" and requires close connection with other academic disciplines of the master's level of higher education: "Managerial economics", "Agrarian policy", "Economics and organization of agritrading", "Global economy", "Cost management in agribusiness", "Marketing management in agribusiness", "Agricultural production technologies" and "Foresight technologies in agribusiness".
