Course Purpose: the overall aim of this course is that the student shall gain knowledge about research process and develop an ability to plan and handle scientific examination for resolving entrepreneurship tasks.

Course Objectives:  to broaden the professional knowledge regarding use of economic, business and management research for deep understanding and   responding to the tasks of business activity; learn research tools and techniques, methods of analysis and problem evaluation for different contexts of enterprise activity, to form competences of independent creative work and ones required for    carrying out project research team work.

Learning outcomes                              

Having completed the course the student will be able to:

·        formulate research aim and objectives, define subject and object of the research and its other characteristics;

·        gather, process, set in order and analyze diverse information regarding the research topic, undertake a critical review of recent and relevant information;   

·        demonstrate a competent understanding of research methods, and methodological and philosophical underpinnings, applicable to researching ;

·        have an ability to argue for author’s choice related to the research process, work in a project team building together a consensus approach for resolving research issues;

·        generalize research results obtained and prepare different scientific texts (an article, an essay; an abstract, a term project, etc.);

·        formalize and present publicly the results of the research conducted (using MS Power Point), be able to defend its content.
