Course objectives:to provide students with practical skills to implement project management processes that are carried out using the methods and tools of the Microsoft Project software.

Tasks: to develop students’ competencies sufficient for successful project management in Microsoft Project environment.

Learning outcomes:

After successfully completing this course, the student will be able to:

- choose the model of project planning and control in Microsoft Project;

- draw up a project plan in Microsoft Project;

- plan the project resources and tasks in Microsoft Project;

- analyze the time to optimize the project plan on deadline in Microsoft Project;

- conduct resource optimization in Microsoft Project;

- conduct project cost analysis and minimize the project budget in Microsoft Project;

- carry out detailed monitoring of the projects execution and conduct trend analysis in Microsoft Project;

- manage two or more projects simultaneously in Microsoft Project;

-  use the means of e-mail to share information and carry out import-export project data in Microsoft Project;

- develop different forms of reporting and presenting the data in Microsoft Project.
