Volodymyr Machuskyi PhD in Law, Associate Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages, Law Institute, Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman. Professional PathVolodymyr Machuskyi has been working at the university since October 1989. In parallel, he held senior positions in the legal departments of leading financial institutions in Ukraine: Head of the Legal Department at AKB "Resident" and AKB "Express-Bank", Member of the Board for Legal Affairs at JSC "Prometey", and Legal Advisor at the Ukrainian-American joint venture "Alliance-Kyiv". Scientific and Educational ActivitiesThroughout his teaching career, Volodymyr Machuskyi has authored six textbooks with a total volume of over 1,000 printed pages. Two of them – "Legal Principles of Insurance" and "Legal Environment of Small Business" – have been recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. He is the author and developer of two master's programs: "Insurance Law" and "Business Law". Volodymyr Machuskyi is the ideological inspiration of SynthEthics Society. SynthEthics Society is a student club committed to examining and advocating for the ethical use of artificial intelligence in alignment with human rights principles. His research interests include: legal regulation of business activities and insurance; English common law; internet law; issues of access to public information; legal aspects of artificial intelligence.
Experience and RecognitionHe defended his PhD dissertation on "Legal Regulation of Insurance in Ukraine (Economic and Legal Aspects)". He completed an internship at the University of Economics and Business in Vienna (Austria) under the supervision of Professor Peter Doralt. He teaches practical courses in advanced English, including "Franchise Law" and "Fundamentals of Negotiation". For his significant contribution to the development of education, he has been awarded a Commendation from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and holds the honorary title of lecturer at Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman. |
