The State and Law Theory and History Department is one of the structural units of the Law Faculty, which:
- carries out the teaching and educational work in fundamental legal theory and history disciplines taught to Law students and the Jurisprudence discipline for students of all other specialities of the University;
- carries out scientific and research activities in the following areas: State and Law Theory and History; History of Political and Legal Teachings (12.00.01); Philosophy of Law (12.00.12); Legal Problems of Political Institutes and Processes (23.00.02);
- takes part in the community work of the Faculty and the University.
