• Macro-financial Risk ManagementThe course goal.Thus, the primary course goals is to form knowledge on the organization and functioning of financial risk management at the macro level, as well as practical skills obtained in the management of public financial resources. Moreover, the course aimis to provide students with the tools, and the skills to use these tools, to understand the underlying concepts and practical tradeoffs entailed in public risk management alternatives. This will prepare students to be informed consumers of public finance data, and thus, equip students to engage constructively in the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of public finance policies. This course teaches students how to obtain budget revenue and expenditure risk indicators at all stages of the budget cycle; evaluate the public debt risks; use risk management skills in the financial governance and public sector organizations; apply the methods of public financial control.
