In 1984 he graduated from Kyiv Institute of National Economy named after D. Korotchenko and got a specialty - an economist. Worked in the construction industry. In 1997 was awarded the honorary title "Honored economist of Ukraine". In 2004 he defended his dissertation on the topic: "Forecasting of economic consequences of restructuring in construction by means of comparative expert diagnostics" and received a scientific degree of the candidate of economic sciences in the specialty "Construction Economics".
