INTERNATIONAL
SCIENTIFIC-METHODICAL CONFERENCE

November 11 – 12, 2011 in SHEE “Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University” (KNEU) the international scientific-methodical conference "Legal-organizational Forms of Agri-industrial Formations: Status, Prospects and the Impact on Rural Development" will take place.
       The Organizing Committee invites university educators, researchers and representatives of business to participate in the conference.
The questions of the development of legal-organizational forms of agri-industrial formations in the post-reform period and their impact on rural areas will be consider.
SECTION 1. The formation, functioning and development prospects of a new type of agri-industrial formations and economic relations in the countryside
Head of Section:
Serhiy I. Demyanenko - Professor, Dr.(H), Head of the Department of of Agribusiness Economics (KNEU)
Questions that will be consider in the section:
• the consequences of institutional changes in the agri-business in Ukraine;
• theoretical foundations and practice of formation and operation of agriholdings as a new type of agrarian formations and economic relations in the countryside;
• еhe global food problem and the prospects for international integration of agricultural and food companies;
• prospects for agribusiness development in Ukraine in the context of European integration processes.

SECTION 2. Practical aspects of operating and investing activities management of agri-industrial formations
Head of Section:
Alexander Y. Nychyporuk - candidate of economic sciences (Ph.D),  docent
Questions that will be consider in the section:
• building of management system of agriholdings;
• management and economic analysis in agriculture branches;
• financing of agri-industrial formations: current status and opportunities for improvement;
• investment in agribusiness: substantiation and priority directions;
• information and analytical support for management decisions.

SECTION 3. Accounting, analysis and control in agri-industrial formations
Head of Section:
Mykhailo M. Kotsupatryi - candidate of economic sciences (Ph.D), Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Economics of Agri-industrial Complex
Questions that will be consider in the section:
• Organization of accounting and book-keeping in agri-industrial formations;
• organizational and methodological principles of net worth accounting;
• analysis of production, processing and selling;
• organization of internal control in the agri-industrial formations;
• accounting of costs for the maintenance of objects of social infrastructure in the countryside.

The collection of scientific articles of participants will be published by the conference.
Languages: Ukrainian, Russian, English.
Requirements for registration of articles:
1. Articles should consist of such elements: abstract and key words (in three languages), problem formulation, analysis of existing researches of this problem; selection of the unsolved problems, formulation the aims of the article; summary of basic material, conclusions, used sources;
2. The paper should not exceed 7 typewritten pages;
3. Font - Times New Roman, size 12pt.;
4. Line spacing - one and a half;
5. Text alignment - the width (word wrap is not permitted, only one space is allowed between words);
6. Abbreviations of words (except generally accepted - reduction of mathematical quantities, measures, dates, etc.) are not allowed;
7. All illustrations, diagrams, graphs, tables should be inserted in the text within the page size.
8. By “used sources”, without pass line, should be the lists of used literature (and electronic) sources. Sources in the bibliography are numbered in alphabetical order. Reference number in the text is printed in brackets, for example: [1] or [7, pp. 23-27].

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to edit the text of the article according to the theme of the conference, or deviate the article in the case of its disagreement to the theme of the conference or specified requirements.
