HRPM 650E International HR Management
Study and critical analysis of theory and practice of the human resource/personnel function in modern, complex organizations. Includes topics such as personnel policies, workforce diversity, HR practices, employee discipline, health and safety, and collective bargaining. Course delivered at KNEU.
IEIF 650E Fundamentals of Decision-making and Project Management
This course provides an introduction to business analytics and applied decision making using simple quantitative techniques. Topics include cost-revenue models, competitiveness, productivity, forecasting, project management, and linear programming as they relate to business decisions in a dynamic environment.
IEEC 650E Strategic Management and International Competitiveness
Strategy sets a critical direction and guides the allocation of resources to achieve long-term organizational objectives. Examination of the formulation of strategy based on internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats in the context of changing technology and environment.
IETR 650E International Marketing Management
Exploration and application of marketing concepts to the demands and conditions of the global marketplace. Critical evaluation of the marketing challenges presented by the increased exposure of individuals, businesses, and governments to international market forces.

Emphasis on the application of the core business functions in an international context and the implications of global entrepreneurship issues for business decision makers.
IEMA 650E Managerial Performance and Assessment
Students assess and develop their personal skills, interpersonal skills, group skills, and specific communication skills through selfassessment, study of theory, analysis, practice, and application. Students assess their career preferences and develop personal action plans.
EMBS 650E Leadership and Effective Communication
Features individual leadership assessments, administrative styles, employee motivation, and leadership theory. Emphasis on school improvement, decision making and planning skills, and the sociology of organizations.
IEMA 680E Internship A & B
Two professional internships that enable students to explore career options, test career choices, and encourage the development of skills within a chosen field. Students are directed by KNEU faculty to relate classroom theory with practical work experiences and to develop new skills that will be transferable to future employers.
HRPR 680E Organizational Behavior Consulting Capstone
Integrating prior coursework within thecontext of strategy formulation and implementation, student teams conduct a “live”consulting engagement with an international organization. Students develop the parameters of the engagement and applyappropriate theoretical knowledge in a practical setting to prepare and present a projectreport.
IEMA 690E Thesis
Under faculty supervision, the thesis provides an exploration of the procedures of planning, design, scheduling, organization, and management of a master's level research project in the business and economics related disciplines. Students have an opportunity to gather and assess data, explore novel perspectives, and connect with resources that build upon and enhance coursework and other program experiences. Students will delve into a business problem or challenge of special relevance to them and engage the problem or challenge at an advanced level of investigation.
