The department has created and is actively developing a scientific school of psychological and pedagogical training in non-pedagogical universities, founded by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Vitalii Kozakov, the first head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology.

• definition of psychological and pedagogical principles of professional training of students of economic specialties;
• psychological features of personality development;
• psychological and pedagogical factors and conditions of professional training of students of economic university;
• development of general and professional competencies of specialists;
• theoretical and methodological foundations of training of teachers of economics.
