Dr. Ulrich Rüdiger is a distinguished German physicist and scholar who has served as the Rector of the University of Konstanz since 2009 and was re-elected to this position until 2023.

Ulrich Rüdiger obtained his education in physics, defended his doctoral dissertation, and completed postdoctoral training at leading universities in Germany and the USA, including Aachen, New York, and San Jose. He is a recognized expert in experimental solid-state physics and has significant achievements in mathematics and computer science.

Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman awarded Professor Ulrich Rüdiger the title of Doctor Honoris Causa. This title was granted in recognition of his significant contributions to the development of science and education, as well as for strengthening international cooperation between universities.
