This honorary title was granted by the decision of the university’s Academic Council (Protocol No. 7, March 26, 2009) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to economic development, the financial sector, and philanthropy on an international level.

The conferral of this title recognized his role in establishing the UAE as a global financial hub and his support for educational and scientific initiatives. Sheikh Hamdan actively promoted international cooperation in economics and finance, which was of significant importance to Ukraine.
