Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman

On March 26, 2025, the solemn opening of the European Digital Innovation Hub WIN2EDIH took place at KNEU!26 Mart 2025р.

Our University is the coordinator of this international project under the “Digital Europe” programme.

WIN2EDIH   is part of the pan-European network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH Network) and is aimed at supporting the digital transformation of businesses, startups, and the public sector. The Hub offers opportunities for integrating cutting-edge digital technologies, testing solutions, attracting funding, and entering international markets.

The project partners — Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, Ukrainian Startup Fund, National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic,” State University "Zhytomyr Polytechnic," Vacuum Deep Tech Acceleration, and YEP Accelerator — officially signed the Consortium Agreement and approved the governing bodies of the project: the Coordination Council, Advisory Board, Executive Committee, Quality and Ethics Committee, Transparency and Communications Committee, Technical Working Group, Promotion Working Group, and the Working Group on Administration and Financial Management.

The project’s associate members include the Institute for Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

A warm welcome was extended to the participants by Mr. Joghan O’NEILL, Project Officer, Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology, European Commission.
Success in fulfilling the project’s objectives was wished by Mr. Pavlo KARTASHOV, Economic Advisor at the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA.

Greetings on behalf of the Advisory Board representatives were delivered by:

·         Rostyslav DYUK, Chairman of the Board, Ukrainian Association of Fintech and Innovative Companies

·         Viacheslav BYKOVETS, First Vice-President and Director General, Union of Entrepreneurs, Small, Medium and Privatized Enterprises of Ukraine

Also present at the ceremonial opening were Olena Liutak, Vice-Rector of Lutsk National Technical University, and Liudmyla Yelisieieva, Vice-Rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, who are expected to join the project implementation in the future.

Project administration is carried out with the participation of Andrii Omelchenko, Liudmyla Horelikova, Oleksandr Tsypliak, Olena Tsyrkun, and scholars from the Institute of Information Systems in the Economy.
