Participation of KNEU in the international project of popularization of outstanding figures of science and culture of Ukraine and the Czech Republic15 July 2020р.The Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic has initiated a joint Ukrainian-Czech project "Vikentiy Khvoyka - Ivan Borkovsky", the aim of which is to promote these two prominent figures for Ukraine and the Czech Republic. The development of Czech archeological science is connected with the name of Ukrainian Ivan Borkovsky, a researcher of Prague Castle, as well as Czech Vikentiy Khvoyka, who made a huge contribution to the development of Ukrainian archeology by discovering monuments of Trypillia culture and establishing the time of its origin (4-3 millennia B.C.). In fact, the name "Trypillia culture" appeared in the work of Vikentiy Khvoyka in 1901 about the excavations of settlements near Kaniv and Rzhyshchyvan in Kyiv region. The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Czech Republic E. Perebyinis in his personal letter to the Rector of KNEU D. Lukyanenko invited scientists, teachers and students of our university to collaborate in this international project, in particular the team Enactus KNEU, which started and implementedthe first project in Ukraine to promote historical and archaeological heritage in collaboration with folk artist Lyudmila Smolyakova, who researches Trypillia culture, reconstructs and promotes it in Ukraine and other countries. In the process of implementing this project, with the support of the university administration, in particular the Vice-Rector for Research, Director of the Institute of Higher Education Prof. L. Antonyuk, festivals of Trypillia culture, exhibitions, conferences, round tables were held for six years, a permanent exposition of reconstructions of Trypillia ceramics was opened in the Museum of History of KNEU, where about 3,000 objects reproduced by archeological researches are presented. In 2015, the KNEU project "Trypillia: Civilization of Creators" was presented at the World Cup "Enactus" in South Africa and received UN recognition. The organizers of the international project "Vikentiy Khvoyka - Ivan Borkovsky" from the Czech side are Charles University, the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, the Museum of the City of Prague, the Archives of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. From the Ukrainian side, the Institute of Archeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the National Museum of History of Ukraine and KNEU are invited to participate. |
