MATVIICHUK Andriy Viktorovych    - Doctor of Economics, Professor, General Director of the Institute of Modeling and Information Technologies in Economics ,  Professor of the Department of Economic and Mathematical Modeling .
He is the chairman of the  specialized scientific council  of Vadym Hetman KNEU for the defense of doctoral and candidate dissertations in the specialties "Mathematical methods, models and information technologies in economics" and "Statistics".
Editor- in- Chief of the  scientific-analytical journal "Neuro-fuzzy modeling technologies in economics" .

In 2000 he graduated from Vinnytsia State Technical University. In 2003 he defended his dissertation "Optimization management of the securities portfolio structure", and in 2008 - his doctoral dissertation on "Modeling and analysis of economic systems based on the theory of fuzzy logic."

In the course of his scientific activity he has published more than 130 scientific works, having received a number of grants and awards:

  • Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the contribution of youth to state building in the nomination "For scientific achievements" (2004).
  • Grant of the International Scientific Fund for Economic Research of Academician MP Fedorenko (Central Economic and Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences) for research within the project "Analysis and forecasting of economic systems using fuzzy descriptions" (2004).
  • Prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine to the author of the best scientific works in the field of economics among young scientists (2005).
  • Prize of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the most talented young scientists in the field of basic and applied research and scientific and technical developments (2009).
  • Academician MP Fedorenko's MNFD grant for the publication of the monograph "Artificial Intelligence in Economics: Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logic" (2009).
  • Grants of the President of Ukraine to support research of young scientists (2012 - on "Intelligent system of early warning of bankruptcy of Ukrainian enterprises"; 2014 - "Adaptive technologies of intellectual analysis of creditworthiness of Ukrainian enterprises").
  • Diploma of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for the monograph "Artificial Intelligence in Economics: Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logic" (2012).
  • A number of diplomas from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for training the winners of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in natural, technical and human sciences in the field of "Quantitative Methods in Economics", conducted by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
  • Diploma from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for many years of conscientious work, high professionalism and achievements in the field of education and upbringing of student youth (2012).
  • Badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine "Excellence in Education of Ukraine" for significant achievements in the implementation of state policy in the field of national education, training and education of the younger generation (2015).
  • Badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine "For scientific and educational achievements" (2018).

He held senior positions in the State Tax Administration of Ukraine, where he developed and implemented a number of information and analytical systems. Since 2009, working as a production director in an international IT company, he has been developing and implementing business intelligence systems in various industries for the public and private sectors of the economy. In 2012 he ensured the creation of the KNEU Science Park and is its head to this day.
