Regulations on the Institute for Sociological Research

  The primary objective of the Institute is to conduct applied sociological research in the interests of the University, systematically study and monitor the quality of the educational and learning process, and analyze the effectiveness of the structural units.

Areas of activity of the Institute:
1. Systematic diagnostics of the quality of the educational process at the University based on sociological research and expert sociological evaluation.
2. Providing services for the analysis of research results using sociological methods, forecasting, and recommendations; ensuring planned quality control of professional training in all specialties and fields of study available to University students.
3. Conducting sociological diagnostics and expert evaluation of the activities of various University structural units based on the orders of the Rector.
4. Developing sociological research tools for the internal needs of University staff and structural units.
5. Scientific and methodological sociological support for management decision-making within the University.
6. Conducting monitoring and evaluation studies within the framework of the University's quality assurance program for the educational process.
7. Providing scientific and methodological recommendations for organizing high-quality management of the educational process at the University based on sociological research findings
Grant and research proposals
  • •  Development of sociological research tools (questionnaires, interview guides, focus group guides, etc.) of various scopes and orientations.
  • •  Formation of databases in Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS).
  • •  Coding, verification, and data entry of questionnaires into SPSS databases.
  • •  Analysis of processed data and preparation of an analytical report based on the findings.
  • •  Creation of infographics for data obtained through both quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • •  Conducting and providing full analytical support for focus group research.
  • •  Conducting and providing full analytical support for expert surveys.
  • •  Conducting and providing full analytical support for in-depth interviews.
  • •  Content analysis of mass media sources.
  • •  Evaluation of social programs and projects.
