Guest lecture: “Management in the field of intellectual property”. Dr. Oksana Kashyntseva

Oksana Kashyntseva is a head of the Department of IP and Human Rights in Healthcare of Intellectual Property Instutute of National Acedemy of Legal Scinces of Ukraine. She is a member of sevral working groups at Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Ukrainian Patent Office and at the Parliament of Ukraine. She leads the legal group of the Platform "Fight for Health" of the biggest patints organisatin in Ukriane – CO "People livinh with HIV – 100 % of Life" and the is national consultant of UNDP and WHO Country Office.

The lecture is devoted to advocacy and legal mechanisms of Intellectual Property policy making, based on the example of cooperation between civil society, the Parliament of Ukraine and the Government of Ukraine. Also, the lecture highlights the importance of state sovereignty in the field of IP. Political and legal aspects of Ukraine's European integration track are revealed through the prism of international obligations in the field of IP.
