Since joining the national competition nearly a decade ago, the KNEU team has won six times and has twice been the national runner-up. In 2014, the team was awarded bronze in its league at the Enactus World Cup 2014 held in Beijing. Among the most impactful projects presented in Beijing and still successfully operating today is “iLearn”—an online platform developed in partnership with the public organization “Osvitoria” and supported by the Vasyl Khmelnytsky Charitable Foundation “Pathways to the Future.” The platform helps orphans and children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds prepare for standardized external examinations. At the 2015 Enactus World Cup, held in the Republic of South Africa, the KNEU team’s achievements were once again highly praised by international judges, earning them third place in their league. The team, led by captain Illia Sknar (PhD student in Economic-Mathematical Modeling), and consisting of students Maryna Demydenko, Daryna Pasichna, Ihor Shkolnyi (Faculty of International Economics and Management), Hanna Linchak (Finance and Economics Faculty), and Vasyl Hryhorovych (Faculty of Marketing), under the mentorship of Professor Larysa Leontiivna Antoniuk, proved by example that changing the world is possible—with strong will and dedicated effort. The team presented the results of three successful projects. Among them, “Trypillia: The Connection of Generations” was especially recognized for effectively implementing three UN Sustainable Development Goals. Another notable project, “Palmer”, is an electronic assistant and computer system for controlling robotic hand prosthetics, significantly enhancing their functionality. This innovation holds high potential for commercialization and is particularly valuable for helping veterans of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). In late May 2017, at the national Enactus Ukraine competition, the Enactus KNEU team became the national champion for the third time, earning the opportunity to represent Ukraine in London. Under the guidance of Professor L.L. Antoniuk, team members Ihor Shkolnyi (captain), Olha Bandrivska, Nina Zamidra, Olena Khlystova, and Stanislav Vysotskyi made great efforts to present their two projects—Veterans HUB 4.5.0 and OnlineConcilium—at the Enactus World Cup in the UK.
