The mission of WIN2EDIH is Deep Tech Innovation in the development of digitalization and Ukraine's competitiveness in the global digital space.
The vision of WIN2EDIH focuses on the development of the digitalized SMEs, startups and public administration for sustainable, secure and inclusive economic development of Ukraine.
The overall objective is to strengthen and extend the existing network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH), covering underrepresented regions of the Associated Countries, particularly Northern and Central Ukraine with regional centres in the city of Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, and Kyiv.
Complementary to the key objective, WIN2EDIH is focused on achieving specific objectives, linked to the ones included in the topic, which are as follows:
- WIN2EDIH will provide services that are tailored for deep-tech sectors & technologies;
- WIN2EDIH will make available the relevant infrastructure facilities related to deep-tech specialization to the target groups;
- WIN2EDIH will ensure the systematic upskilling support to the SMEs, startups and public administrations to increase the level of their digital literacy, digital opportunities that are available for them in terms of development of their businesses, innovative solutions and public services;
- WIN2EDIH will become the info center of the grant opportunities and source of knowledge on how to attract investors;
- WIN2EDIH will be active in networking with other EDIHs, sharing best practices and specialist knowledge, take part in relevant support activities of the Digital Transformation Accelerator (DTA), including “Train the Trainer” programme and report to DTA on Key Performance Indicators of the network;
- WIN2EDIH will serve as an access point to the European network of EDIHs, facilitating collaboration and knowledge exchange among local companies seeking expertise beyond their region;
- WIN2EDIH will maintain structured long-term relationships with the relevant local & European actors including European Enterprise Network (EEN), Startup Europe;
- WIN2EDIH will act as an interface with the European Commission to support the implementation of specific sectoral policies, SME policies and eGovernment policies.
Expected project results:
- higher levels of readiness of target groups for digital and green transformation through the implementation of high-tech solutions;
- a developed inclusive digital innovation ecosystem, in particular based on the Innovation Ukraine platform, capable of providing information interaction and consulting support in a single-window mode;
- diversified cooperation with other European digital innovation hubs and integration into the European innovation space;
- active transfer of knowledge and experience, training and advanced training in the field of digital literacy, entrepreneurship, dissemination of information about best practices and opportunities in the field of innovation;
- higher demand and supply of high-tech solutions (in particular, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, high-performance computing, etc.) for the implementation of large-scale digital and green transformations and the creation of sustainable regional infrastructure (Kyiv city and Kyiv region, Zhytomyr region, Chernihiv region).
