ANALYTICAL MODELS AND METHODS IN BUSINESSAnalytical modelsand methodsin business (elective) Academic degree:Bachelor Course Purpose: to form the competences based on understanding themodern analytical models and methods to support management activities withinthe enterprise functional subsystems. Course Objectives: - to form integrated views regarding theanalytical models and methods for management of business; - to develop the competences regarding analytical tools and techniques for supporting managerial decision-making withinthe enterprise functional subsystems (marketing, finance, investment, risk-management etc); - to enhance the knowledge on the analytical tools for supporting managerial decision-making based on probability theory; - to acquint with the newest analyticalmodels and methods for enterprise management based on interval analysis and fuzzy sets theory.
Learning outcomes Upon completion of this course, students should be able to: - explain and useconventional and new analyticalmodels and methods to support decision-making withinan enterprise functional subsystems; - effectively use the analyticalmodels and methods for managing enterprise.
