Born in 1961. In 1982, he graduated from the Poltava Higher Military Command School of Communications, in 1993 - from the Military-Political (Humanitarian) Academy of the Armed Forces (Moscow), in 1995 - an adjunct position at the Kyiv Institute of Ground Forces, in 2001 - a doctoral program at the National Defense Academy of Ukraine. In 1995, he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of political sciences (the topic "The problem of humanizing interpersonal and intergroup relations in the Armed Forces of modern Ukraine"). In 1997, he received the academic title of associate professor at the Department of Political Science. In 2001, he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Political Sciences (the topic "Military power of the modern Ukrainian state: a political analysis"). In 2004, he received the academic title of professor at the Department of Political Science and Sociology. From 2002 to 2006, he was seconded to the Apparatus of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, where he worked as a state expert, head of department, deputy head of department - head of management. Civil servant of the 4th rank. Since February 2006, he has been working at the Department of Political Science and Sociology of Kyiv National University of Economics named after Vadym Hetman (since May 2009, head of the department). Member of the specialized academic council D.26.236.01 for the defense of dissertations for obtaining the scientific degree of doctor (candidate) of political sciences at the Institute of State and Law named after V.M. Koretsky National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, head of the specialized scientific council of SRK 216.716.02 for the defense of theses for obtaining the scientific degree of candidate of political sciences at the Military Diplomatic Academy. |
