In 1975 graduated from the Kiev Technical School of Soviet Trade with a degree in Accounting, receiving a diploma with honors. From 1982 to 1987, she studied at the Kiev Institute of National Economy. In 1999, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic “Accounting and Analysis of Investment Activities of Ukrainian Enterprises”. Since 1995, she has worked as an assistant, and since 2001, as an associate professor at the Department of Accounting for Business Activities. Today, she holds the position of professor at the Department of International Accounting and Auditing at the Vadym Getman Kyiv National University of Economics.

Studied under certification programs and underwent internships abroad:
 
- GOPA (TACIS), financial management and controlling, 1996;
 
- Ernst & Young on international accounting standards 2004
 
- USAID, financial accounting and IAS, 2000, 2001;
 
- training project of the Jean Monnet Foundation, implemented on the basis of KNEU with the support of the European Commission "Advocacy of European Integration" (2013).
Awarded the Order of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church "Venerable Nestor the Chronicler" of the 3rd degree, 2007. Honorary certificates: Academic Council of the KNEU (2006), Chernihiv Land (2010), Chernihiv Regional Council (2011); Kozelets State Administration (2012); Kozelets District Council (2013).
 
Has certificates of registration of the right of the State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine: "Standard Program in Science "Accounting in Foreign Countries" (2013) and "Standard Program in Science "Accounting in International Operations" (2013). Has 35 scientific works, including: is the author and co-author of 10 textbooks, teaching aids and 2 monographs. Is the supervisor of scientific works of masters and postgraduate students. Under the supervision of Professor Lukyanenko L.I., 2 candidate theses were defended.
