Department of finance named after Viktor Fedosov

The department provides training for versatile financial analysts at both the micro and macro levels, financial managers, experts and consultants in finance and investment, taxation, public budgeting, and customs, as well as specialists in financial planning for the business sector and public administration.

The Department of Finance named after Viktor Fedosovis one of the most renowned and respected finance departments in Ukraine, distinguished by its rich academic tradition. Its origins can be traced back to the establishment of the Department of Financial Law at the Kyiv Commercial Institute, founded in 1906. The present-day Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman is the successor to this institute, while the Department of Finance named after Viktor Fedosov continues the legacy of the Department of Financial Law.

The Department provides education and training in the speciality 072 «Finance, Banking, Insurance, and the Stock Market» through a range of educational and professional programmes:

  • First-cycle (bachelor’s) programmes: «Customs Affairs»; «Digital Technologies on Financial Markets», «Public Finance and Customs Affairs»;
  • Second-cycle (master’s) programmes: «Finance»; «Customs Management and Brokerage».
  • Third-cycle (doctoral) programme: «Finance, Banking, and Insurance».

The Department is responsible for the delivery of these educational programmes, ensuring the quality of academic disciplines, achieving programme learning outcomes, and fostering the development of professional competencies among graduates.
