Department of Foreign Languages at the Faculty of FinanceGeneral Information The department is a part of the Faculty of Finance and is responsible for teaching foreign languages to students in the Faculty of Finance, the Faculty of Accounting and Tax Management, and the Institute of Information Technology in Economy at both the Bachelor's and Master's levels. The department’s primary focus is to prepare competitive future specialists in the field of economics for both domestic and international job markets. The goal of the department is to equip students with the skills necessary for effective communication in academic and professional settings. Foreign language instruction is based on an interdisciplinary, integrative approach and is centered around the content of specialized subjects that are key to the education of future economists. The department prioritizes communication skills, interactivity, and authentic communication, as well as learning the language within a cultural context, autonomy, and human-centered teaching methods.
