Erhard Roy Wein is a renowned German scholar and a professor at the University of Konstanz (Germany). His academic work focuses on historical research, particularly concerning World War II and the Holocaust.

Professor Wein maintains close academic ties with Ukrainian colleagues and educational institutions.

In November 2017, as part of a delegation from the University of Konstanz, he visited Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman (KNEU) to discuss the expansion of cooperation and the selection of students for studies in Germany. During this visit, the Rector of the University of Konstanz, Professor Ulrich Rüdiger, was awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of KNEU.

Additionally, Professor Wein was honored by the Academic Council of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, recognizing his contributions to scientific collaboration between Ukraine and Germany.
