In early July, a Cooperation Agreement on the Double-Degree Program between Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman and SGH Warsaw School of Economics was signed. This significant event became possible due to the dedication and hard work of faculty members from both universities over the past year.

The Agreement opens new opportunities for students enrolled in the International Economics program at the Faculty of International Economics and Management, under the leadership of Dean Yuriy Solodkovsky.

"The signing of the Agreement on the Double Diploma Program marks a significant milestone in our academic institutions' enduring and profound collaboration. This initiative provides new opportunities for Ukrainian students and constitutes a pivotal advancement of our educational system towards European integration. We are proud that KNEU students will soon get diplomas from two universities, and we look forward to welcoming Polish students into our classrooms after the end of the war. This development embodies the principles of partnership, trust, and shared values," stated  KNEU Rector Dmytro Lukyanenko.

According to Viktor Chuzhykov, the Vice-Rector for Academic Work and International Relations, "European higher economic education is currently undergoing a challenging transformation process. Traditional teaching methods are being replaced, while there is an increasing demand for digital learning models, global knowledge transfer, and unprecedented levels of international academic mobility. In this context, university leadership plays a crucial role in enhancing the competitiveness of the scientific and educational process. This is why the collaborative efforts of KNEU and SGH are vital for the development of our countries."

We express our sincere appreciation to our Polish partners, led by Rector Piotr Wachowiak, for their collaborative efforts, shared values, and exceptional support in advancing significant educational initiatives.
