On 16 2011 the Seminar on The Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development: Opportunities for participation of Ukrainian researchers in the field of socio-economic sciences and humanities was held at KNEU Conference Hall. Organizers of the Seminar were the EU-funded Project of “Joint Support Office for Ukraine's Integration into the European Research Area” (JSO-ERA); National Contact Point of the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development "Social and Economic Sciences and Humanities" and the Institute of Higher Education of Kyiv National Economic University named after V. Hetman.

The seminar was organized for directors of research institutes of our university and the higher administrative apparatus. In his opening remarks, the Rector Pavlenko A.F. mentioned the importance of improving international cooperation and announced the establishment of Academic Park that will facilitate the establishment of innovative science and obtaining of absolute competitive advantage in the global education market by KNEU.

In the course of the event, Kot O.V., k.e.n., the expert on socio-economic sciences and humanities, food and biotechnology, presented the project and explained the modern features of the Work programme. During the interactive dialogue with participants of the seminar, she provided solid expert advice on development of effective project for reception of funds and participating in the Program.
