The Department of Socioeconomics and Personnel Management turns 60!24 October 2025р.

On October 23, 2025, Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Work in the 21st Century: New Trends, Social Dimension, Innovative Development”, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Department of Socioeconomics and Personnel Management.
The following speakers addressed the department staff with words of congratulations and wishes for new achievements:
- Dmytro Lukyanenko, Rector of KNEU;
- Piotr Wachowiak, Rector oftheWarsawSchoolofEconomics;
- AnatoliyKinakh,PresidentoftheUkrainianUnion of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs;
- Yevhen Drapiaty, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine;
- Vyacheslav Bykovets, First Vice President, CEO of the Union of Entrepreneurs of Small, Medium and Privatized Enterprises of Ukraine;
- Vadym Berezovyk, Director of PROFIN CONSULTING LLC;
- Viktoria Lipchanska, Editor-in-Chief of KADROVIK.UA magazine, PresidentoftheAll-UkrainianAssociationofHRManagers;
- Tetiana Kostyshyna, Head of the Department of Human Resource Management, Labor Economics, and EconomicTheoryatPoltavaUniversityofEconomicsandTrade.Theyemphasizedtherelevance of labor issues in the 21st century and noted the department's contribution to the development of higher education and science in Ukraine.

Theheadofthedepartment, DoctorofEconomics, Professor HalynaLopushnyak, gave a historical overview and presented the results of the team's many years of scientific work.
The scientific program of the conference featured key reports:
- Doctor of Economics, Professor Anatoliy Kolot on the concept of the social and labor development platform "Labor 5.0";
- Doctor of Economics, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Ella Libanova on the problems of balancing labor supply and demand in Ukraine;
- Professor Jan Bzhozovsky on the factors of economic integration of Ukrainians in Poland;
- Larysa Shaulska, Doctor of Economics, and Olga Doronina on the interconnection between transformations in university education and the social and labor sphere.
The discussion was joined by Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Andrii Hrytsenko, Doctors of Economics Svitlana Tsymbaliuk, Olha Novikova, Heorhii Shushpanov, Antonina Antoniuk, and others, as well as young scientists.
The conference was a vivid testimony to the fact that the Department of Socioeconomics and Personnel Management at KNEU not only preserves traditions but also actively develops new approaches to solving contemporary social and labor challenges.
We sincerely congratulate the department on its anniversary and wish it new scientific achievements, recognition of its educational programs, and continued progress!
