Director of the Social and Labour Relations Institute of the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, Professor, Doctor of Economics, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor of the Department of Socioeconomics and Human Resources Management of the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman.

Professor A. M. Kolot was one of the first to launch fundamental research on labour issues in terms of the formation and development of a market economy, social partnership, social cohesion, social responsibility of economic entities, the state and civil society, and social policy.

He is a member of the Scientific and Expert Council of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, a member of the KNEU Specialized Academic Council for the Defense of Doctoral and PhD Theses. Under his academic supervision, 9 theses for the degree of PhD and Doctor of Economics have been prepared and successfully defended.

Since the 1990s, Anatolii Kolot has repeatedly participated in the preparation of the President’s annual Addresses to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. He is one of the developers of a number of legislative and other regulatory acts of Ukraine in the field of labour and social and labour relations, in particular, the draft Laws of Ukraine “On Collective Bargaining Agreements and Agreements,” “On Trade Unions, Their Rights and Guarantees of Activity,” “On Remuneration of Labour,” “On Social Dialogue in Ukraine.”

 “In order to change the world around us for the better, we need to learn to think differently and be socially responsible,” is a statement that has become A.M. Kolot’s life credo.
